Make Your Own Taco Seasoning

Make Your Own Taco Seasoning

Homemade taco seasoning is as easy as whisking together some ingredients you have in your pantry. Make a double batch to keep on hand for seasoning your favorite meats and vegetables.
You will never buy taco seasoning from the store again! Store your taco seasoning in an air tight container, and it should last for 1 to 2 years.
To make this homemade taco seasoning recipe, you will need the following spices:
Chili powder
Ground cumin,
garlic powder,
onion powder
dried oregano
Salt and black pepper
Crushed red pepper flakes (OPTIONAL)
To use: Use 2-½ tablespoons of spice mix per pound of meat, in place of a packet of taco seasoning.
