Make Your Own Taco Seasoning
Homemade taco seasoning is as easy as whisking together some ingredients you have in your pantry. Make a double batch to keep on hand for seasoning your favorite meats and vegetables.You will never buy taco seasoning from the store again! Store your taco seasoning in an air tight container, and it should last for 1 to 2 years. To make this homemade taco seasoning recipe, you will need the following spices:Chili powderGround cumin, garlic powder, onion powder dried oreganoPaprikaSalt and black pepper Crushed red pepper flakes (OPTIONAL)To use: Use 2-½ tablespoons of spice mix per pound of meat, in place of a packet of taco seasoning. You can use it for ground beef tacos, or in casseroles, dips, pork or chicken.
