Juicy Lipton Onion Soup Burgers

Every generation has a handful of recipes that seem almost too simple to survive. Just practical food that passed from kitchen drawer to backyard grill to handwritten recipe card. That’s exactly how this recipe for the Lipton Onion Soup Burger started.
If you grew up in North America, there’s a decent chance someone in your family handed you a burger and never mentioned the secret ingredient: a packet of onion soup mix folded directly into the meat.
The dehydrated onions soften as the burger cooks, while the seasoning blend adds salt, onion flavor, and a deeply savory “burger stand” taste without extra prep.
With just a handful of ingredients and one packet of onion soup mix, you get burgers that are savory, juicy, and packed with flavor all the way through. No elaborate seasoning blend. No long marinade. Just an easy recipe that turns ordinary ground beef into backyard-cookout-level burgers.
Why this burger recipe works
The secret ingredient is simple…..Onion Soup Mix.
The dried onions and seasoning blend help flavor the meat throughout the patty instead of just seasoning the outside.
