Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425°F and place a 10-inch cast iron skillet in the oven while it heats.
Blend the batter
by combining eggs, milk, flour, sugar, and salt until smooth.
Melt the butter in the hot skillet, swirling to coat the bottom and sides.
Pour in the batter
and return the skillet to the oven.
