Homemade taco seasoning is as easy as whisking together some ingredients you have in your pantry. Make a double batch to keep on hand for seasoning your favorite meats and vegetables.
You will never buy taco seasoning from the store again! Store your taco seasoning in an air tight container, and it should last for 1 to 2 years.
To make this homemade taco seasoning recipe, you will need the following spices:
Chili powder
Ground cumin,
garlic powder,
onion powder
dried oregano
Paprika
Salt and black pepper 
Crushed red pepper flakes (OPTIONAL)
To use: Use 2-½ tablespoons of spice mix per pound of meat, in place of a packet of taco seasoning. 
You can use it for ground beef tacos, or in casseroles, dips, pork or chicken.

    • 1/2 cup chili powder
    • 1/4 cup onion powder
    • 2 tbsp ground cumin
    • 2 tbsp garlic powder
    • 3 tbsp + 1 tsp smoked paprika
    • 2 tbsp sea salt
    • 1 tbsp black pepper
    • 1/4 tsp. 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

    • Shake until all ingredients are mixed up well. /
