Delicious Creamy Blueberry Pie

I love pie! I use to suck at making pie crust but after many years I have perfected it and my family loves that too!! YUM YUM YUM, may I have a slice please?
Blueberry season is here and I usually purchase them from the fruit market just down the street from me. They have AMAZING DEALS on raspberries, strawberries, and BLUEBERRIES!!

This Creamy Blueberry Pie” is so incredibly easy to make and uses simple ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen.
Sometimes I need a quick dessert that I know everyone is going to love. If you are like me you have to give this recipe a try.
INGREDIENTS….
- Unbaked pie crust dough… You can make your own or use a store bought crust. (Of course making one that is homemade is always the best! 🙂
- Sour cream
- Egg
- Vanilla
- Blueberries
- Sugar
- Flour
You can use either fresh or frozen blueberries for this blueberry pie.
For fresh blueberries rinse them off and pat dry them and put them into the crust.
For frozen blueberries thaw them out in warm water a bit, rinse off, pat dry and put them into the crust.
Once you are ready to eat this “Delicious Sour Cream Blueberry Pie,” top with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients
CREAM FILLING
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 tsp vanilla ( I double this)
- 3 cups fresh blueberries (can use frozen)
CRUMB TOPPING
- 2 1/2 tbsps brown sugar
- 2 tbsps sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup flour
Instructions
- Start with the cream filling. In a bowl or mixer, mix together the sugar and flour.
- Add in the sour cream, eggs, and vanilla.
- Place the blueberries in the pie crust and then pour the filling over the blueberries evenly.
- Now make the crumb topping. Mix together the sugar, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg.
- Pour the melted butter into the bowl and mix together well.
- Then add the flour in gradually while stirring to create the crumb topping.
- Place the crumble over the pie evenly.
- Bake the pie at 375 degrees for 55 minutes. (All ovens bake sometimes a little hotter than others, mine does, so I cook my pies at 350 for 55 minutes.)
- Serve with ice cream and enjoy!
