Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups Bisquick baking mix
- 1/2 cup cold milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 11/2 tsps baking powder
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
INGREDIENTS FOR THE GARLIC BUTTER TOPPING
- 2 tbsps melted butter
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp dried parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F, and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a medium bowl, combine the Bisquick mix, milk, melted butter, and baking powder, and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until just combined—don’t overmix.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the tops are lightly golden.
- While the biscuits bake, mix together the melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley.
- Remove biscuits from the oven and immediately brush with the garlic butter topping. Serve warm.
