This recipe is super easy to make for Pizza Night. It just takes a few minutes to prepare and a few minutes to bake.
Naan bread is a soft, buttery bread that makes a delicious crust. You can grab it at any grocery store.
You can let the family add toppings they like. I have added a few you can choose from. We like to serve it with a salad or soup.
A FEW TIPS…
- You can always use marinara sauce if you don’t have pizza sauce
- Pepperoni
- Browned sausage crumbles
- Grilled chicken
- Sliced black olives
- Peppers
- Canadian bacon and pineapple tidbits
- Bacon bits
- Go easy — too many toppings can make the crust soggy.
INGREDIENTS….
- Naan Bread….These come in all shapes and sizes in the supermarket. Try garlic or flavoured ones for a little variety.
- Pizza sauce
- Pepperoni
- Mozzarella
- Top the Cheesy Naan pizzas with fresh basil and red pepper flakes (optional), before serving.
We like to bake the “Naan Bread” right on the rack in the oven for a few minutes. Give each one a spritz of olive oil and bake for just a few minutes which helps to have a crispy crust when you add the sauce and toppings.
Store this “Cheesy Naan Pizza” inside an airtight container, ( just in case there is any left) and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
Reheat your pizza the oven is the best way to do this. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and warm for 8-10 minutes until the cheese is gooey again and the bread is completely warmed through.
