Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter, cooled slightly
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 24-cup mini muffin pan or line it with mini muffin liners.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar, egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Don't overmix.
  • Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  • Divide the batter among the mini muffin cups, filling each about ⅔ full.
  • Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the tops are lightly golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the muffins cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack.
